Today we’re going to be looking at a custom made “Like Button Animation Intro” in Sony Vegas (Pro 11) that I created for the use of anyone into the YouTube community! This intro involves having an image of a mouse cursor that comes up from the bottom of the screen, clicks on the YouTube like button, a mouse clicking sound is played and then the like button turns to the clicked version of the like button.
The effect is very simple to do; it involves resizing images, a small bit of masking and keyframing! Don’t worry if you’re not acquainted with these features, our step by step tutorial will help you through it!
To create this effect, you need three images (like button, clicked like button and mouse cursor) and one sound (mouse clicking). You can find/create these images and sounds yourself, or download all 4 items for free below!
